We are dedicated to educate and prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS, providing life-saving AIDS treatment, care, nutrition, support services and love to children and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa by directly engaging the global public, in the fight against AIDS.

WE Focus On:

  • AIDS Drugs Access to AIDS treatment can transform the lives of people with AIDS, returning them from sickness to health. But only 44% of the 15 million people who desperately need treatment have access to it. Keep a Child Alive works to increase access by providing free treatment through the clinics we support.
  • Many of the people in KCA's care live in extreme poverty and need nutritional support to feed themselves and their families. Food One of the most essential, yet often overlooked, components of successful HIV/AIDS treatment is food. Proper nutrition helps AIDS medicine be absorbed by the body, which strengthens the immune system and enhances the life-saving impact of the drugs.
  • Orphans Care 16.6 million children have lost their parents to AIDS. Keep a Child Alive supports community based organizations and orphan care programs that keep the most vulnerable children out of harm's way.
  • A Future Keep a Child Alive believes that every person has the right to a future. We provide the comprehensive care for HIV/AIDS that makes that possible. We are committed to creating hope and a real chance at a healthy and productive future for all those whom we serve.

By wearing KCA merchandise, you help spread the word about our work. Profits help fund our sites as 100% of the profits goes directly to services and care.

Shop on eBay

Now it is easier than ever to donate to Keep a Child Alive, all while shopping online through eBay:
  • 1. Shop our very own eBay store for awesome tees, autographed books, ToyWatches, and other great items! 100% of the proceeds benefit KCA.
  • 2. Simply browse the eBay Giving Works site online for all listings connected to KCA.
  • 3. You can also opt to donate any amount to KCA every time you purchase from eBay under your Donation Account tab in My eBay.

Sell on eBay

As an eBay seller, you can sell your goods and pledge 10% -100% of the purchase proceeds to benefit Keep a Child Alive (KCA) through the eBay Giving Works program! First, find Keep a Child Alive on the eBay Giving Works site and designate us as your charity benefactor, decide how much of each item's purchase price will benefit KCA, and post your item! If your item sells, the donation will be automatically deducted and safely delivered to KCA.

Matching Gift

Many employers have matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. See below for a list of some companies with Matching Gift programs. If yours is not here, ask your Human Resources department if one is available.

Workplace Giving

This giving program allows employees to contribute directly through a payroll deduction. Employees pledge a specific amount from their paycheck to go directly to KCA. Please check with your Human Resources department to find out if your company participates in an employee designated giving program. Donations through the employee giving program are tax deductible.

Donate Air Miles

Donating Air Miles help defray costs of air travel for KCA to do visit our work in Africa and India. We partner with Flying Blue (Air France, KLM, Air Europa, Kenya Airways) Go to Air France online, click on Flying Blue, Spending Miles, Charity and choose Keep a Child Alive. Or fax (519) 744-9692 state that you want to contribute your miles (include the amount of miles) to Keep a Child Alive & be sure to include your Flying Blue number.

Donate Amex Points

If you are enrolled in the Membership Rewards program with AMEX, you can redeem points and in return make a donation to Keep a Child Alive. Just visit the Membership Rewards website. For every 1,000 points redeemed from your Membership Rewards account, American Express will donate $10 to Keep a Child Alive.
